Aneta Tomašević

ANETA TOMAŠEVIĆ (Užice, 1961) is an actress and Principal Drama Artist of the Šabac City Theatre. She took to acting as a child, appearing in both professional and amateur productions. She had her first professional acting engagement in the Zaječar Theatre, and she left it in 1988 to come to Šabac. In the Šabac City Theatre, she played more than a hundred of major roles, including Mrs Martin (“The Bald Soprano”); Rista the waiter (“Humbugs Having Tea”) and Sarka (“The Bereaved Family”). She received five acting awards at the “Joakim Vujić” Festival; three “Zoran’s Moustache (Zoranov brk)” awards; two awards at Bijeljina Comedy Days; two awards at the Nušić’s Days in Smederevo; “Ljubiša Jovanović” Award; “Milivoje Živanović” prize; the Best Actress Award at the Duo-Drama Festival; two awards at festivals in Northern Macedonia, as well as “Boris Kovač” award for her artistic contribution to the Šabac City Theatre. She is the chairwoman of the Artistic Board of the Šabac City Theatre, while, together with Ivan Tomašević, she is engaged in the independent troupe “Scena Maska” as an actress and acting coach. She had roles in films “The Scent of Rain in the Balkans”, “Boomerang” and “Two times zero”, as well as in a number of TV series and films.
