Strahinja Barović

STRAHINJA BAROVIĆ (Šabac, 1987) graduated acting from the Art Academy Slobomir in Bijeljina. He became a member of the Šabac City Theatre resident ensemble in 2010, and has played a great number of roles since, diverse in genre and style. He is currently a Young Principal Drama Artist, with the greatest number of roles on the repertoire.

Strahinja Barović’s important roles include: Numeratsky (“Diaboliad”); First Soldier (“Winter”); Dragan (“Edgetown (Rubište)”); Astolfo (“Life is a Dream”); Bobby (“Auditor from South-East”), etc. He acted in a number of Italian productions for the RAI. He actively engages in drama pedagogy in the acting school “Funky Monkey (Veselo majmunče)”, where he studied acting as a child. He is a self-professed local patriot, and enjoys sports, nature and music.
